Painting & Waterproofing FAQs: Cost, Time & Damp Walls
Quick answers about painting, waterproofing and wood polish.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose a professional painting company instead of a local painter?
You get a measured quote, a clear scope and material list, a timeline and a final inspection, so there are fewer surprises.
What happens after I request a quote?
We schedule a free site inspection, measure the area, check dampness and cracks, agree colours and scope, then paint and hand over after a joint inspection.
How is painting cost calculated?
By paintable area, number of coats, paint quality, surface preparation, labour and extras. Our calculator gives an estimate; the inspection gives the final figure.
How do I measure the painting area?
Multiply length by height for each wall, add them up and subtract doors, windows and other unpainted surfaces.
How long does painting a home take?
Usually several days to two weeks, depending on size, preparation and finishes.
How much paint do I need for 1000 sq ft?
It depends on coats, paint type and wall texture. Our paint quantity guide explains the maths with an example.
Can you fix damp walls before painting?
Yes. We find the source of moisture, treat it, let the wall dry, then prime and paint.
Which paint brands do you use?
Asian Paints, Berger, Nerolac, Birla Opus and others, as you prefer. Confirm the list you actually use.
Can you help me choose colours?
Yes, use the colour palette finder and visualiser or ask for colour consultation during your inspection.
Do you offer waterproofing?
Yes, for terraces, bathrooms, external walls and basements. Use the waterproofing cost calculator for an estimate.
Do you polish wood?
Yes, doors, windows, wardrobes and furniture. Use the wood polish calculator for an estimate.
